Anyone wanting to work at the Festival must, please, complete one of these forms, however well known you are or however many times you have worked before.  For insurance purposes, you must be a current paid-up member of CAMRA.  Please have your membership card with you when you work.  Please also make sure that you write your address legibly, in full, below or you may in due course find that you miss out on something.  The organisers reserve the right to decline any offer of help where they consider it will not be in the best interests of the Festival or CAMRA itself.

How to be really helpful

The times of particular need are the first Sunday, to load the bar counters at Stratford, the Monday morning to build the stillage and put up the beer and Tuesday to complete the bar facilities.  On the three festival days we need staff every day from 9am to get the hall ready for opening, and of course especially on Thursday and Friday nights behind the bar.

We need staff on Saturday for take-down and to reload what was previously unloaded, and on the Sunday morning to unload bar counters etc at Stratford.

If you want to help with set-up and take-down, please make sure that you come suitably dressed and wearing good strong boots or working shoes.  Scaffolding poles and trainers don’t mix.  Also, if you have some safety gloves, please bring them with you.

A lunch allowance of £2-50 will be paid on set-up days for staff who arrive by 10am.  For each half day of “open” session you work, you will be allowed up to 2.5 pints of cask beer or cider at 40p per pint and a £1 discount on food.

If there are any particular jobs that you either prefer or wish to avoid, please state which below:
