Battersea 2001 – A Beer Odyssey

 Many thanks to all of you who took the plunge and embarked on our odyssey in place of the Battersea beer festival.  I hope that you will agree that whilst different touring some of the fine pubs in the South West London branch area and re-acquainting yourselves with previous winning beers from earlier festivals was an enjoyable event. I also hope that you have resolved to revisit the pubs now that you know about them – if you knew them already I hope you are keeping up you attendance.

More especially great thanks are due to the pubs, their management and staff for agreeing to take part in the Odyssey. I hope that you found it as rewarding as the customers.

We understand that the repairs to the Grand Hall have now been completed and we hope to see you back in our old home in February 2002. In the meantime keep checking the website to find news of continuing Beer odyssey events through the year.
